Dadu

Losing my grandfather was never easy but that too in the middle of a pandemic where you live 2900km away. A part of me will always regret not making more photographs of him. After returning home after 3 years, it felt weird not feeling the presence of someone who was present in your life since you could remember. This are his pair of slippers and I retraced his steps with things he liked doing like gardening. The shots on the stairs are to symbolise his absence. This series is a very personal homage to the man from me.

***Half of the shots are shot on film (Portra400) and the other half was shot using the Ricoh GRiii.
