The White Night, 2019
La Nuit Blanche (white night) was first organized in 2002 for people to see Paris see the city in a different way, lit by moonlight, neons and other lights. It had installations, exhibitions, concerts as well as performance, staged scene sets and creations. It consists of many different facets of contemporary art and shows the city in a different way. it was one of my favourite nights in Paris, I was in awe, this city just gives and gives. To put things into perspective, the city closed the entire street in the heart of Paris (Hotel De VIlle) to showcase art. The public transport ran the whole night so that people can plan their routes back home as events ran till late night. Have you ever heard of any city that closed an entire street to spray cotton candy to the crowd. But then it's Paris and you know it's very capable of it. Everybody went crazy, from young and old, everyone was just in awe with what they were getting to experience. I took a rather long time to sieve through the entire photos as I took more than 3000 photos in a span of 4 hours. I love this city, the emotions it evoke, the beauty and everything, I wrote a lot but I still don't have words to properly describe my Paris.
