Prague, Czech Republic

I think Eastern Europe remains a fantasy, rich in history, art and all things nice. If someone has ever gone to Eastern Europe - they would have probably gone to Prague. I remember flying to Prague from sunny Barcelona last November. It was absolutely freezing (-2 degrees but it’s exactly the kind of weather I thrive in), it was sunny nonetheless. Prague was one of a kind - filled with Absinthe shops, Thai Massage Parlours, Operas and musicals at every corner, 50 cents beers etc etc. The magic of Prague really comes out at night - to put it simply - it’s ‘Adult Disneyland’. Franz Kafka’s museum is probably one of favourite museums I have ever been in (the hot chocolate sold there is probably the best hot chocolate out there and the gingerbread cookies as well. The entire Prague castle compound made you feel like you are on a fairytale, everything seemed too real to be true - the decor, the churches (and their tainted glasses are incredible) amongst other things. Charles Bridge was so lively - there was people drawing caricatures, people having their pre-wedding shots taken, children running around, scammers bleeding scammers dry, people watching the sunset. I have probably walked up and down that bridge at least 4 to 5 times and oh yes, the number of people taking selfies was astounding but why not right, it’s such a pretty place. There are so many stories to be cherished in those moments - those moments only felt while traveling. So I as impatiently wait for my next trip (its a very privilege thing to say I acknowledge for sure), I relive those moments in these photographs.
